The Thinkers' Tips: Positivity & Confidence 🎤
This week’s theme: mastering confidence and building a positive mindset 🎉
Hey Thinkers! 🌎
This is topic that isn’t talked about enough and it is the foundation of anything you do in your life - public speaking, interviews, take tests, chase your dreams, take risks, the list goes on and on.
So we’re here to sprinkle you with as much confidence & positive building advice as possible (check out our Insta @thethinkersglobal for tips this and next week!).

📍Top 3 Tips:
In some instances, confidence matters more than competence (how good you are at something). You still need to study & acquire that skill, but your confidence matters just as much (if not more). Check out this Harvard Business Review article for more.
👀 Visualize
Taking a big test (some of you have ACTs/SATs coming up!), going off on a job interview, wanting to muster up the courage to have a hard conversation?
Write down and really feel in your body: What are the feelings you want to feel after you do the thing and succeed at it? What’s the ideal feeling you’re going for? Take time to feel it in your body and visualize how you’ll look after it’s done and you achieve your ideal outcome.
🧍🏽Body Language
Pay attention to your body language (even if you’re on the phone or behind your computer on Zoom!). Stand or sit straight, make sure your feet are firmly planted on the ground.
🧭 Listen to Yourself (aka your inner compass)
There’s a voice within you that is always steering you in the right direction. Develop the muscles to find the courage to continue to listen to that voice. It takes time and practice to do that, but follow it without fail.
See you next week!
